Timberframing

Here are a few pictures that happened to be snapped during the first day of the Timber Framing class. Everyone hard at work, making sure that the reference edge leads the way to a plumb, level, square and tight fitting frame. I am not actually in the class and have only a laypersons understanding of the process but it was fascinating to watch the progressions throughout the day. I eagerly await the day when I too can call myself a crafter of mortis and tenon.
